Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Semester IIA PGSD Matakuliah Pendidikan Matematika SD Kelas Rendah
The purpose of this research is to improve the students learning result on Mathematics Learning Courses of Elementary in Grade Low by using Mind Mapping Method. The action hypothesis in this research is using Mind Mapping Method could improve the students learning result at the second semester of Elementary Study Program Class A at STKIP Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research design that used was according by Kemmis and Taggart which was conducted spiral system cycle. Each cycle consist of plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research was the second semester students of Elementary Study Program which consist of 31 students. Data was gathered from observation, cycle final test and documentation. The research finding was that Mind Mapping could increase the students learning on Mathematics Learning Course of Elementary in at The second semester of Elementary Study Program Class A. This is indicated by an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes completeness of cycle 1 is 70.97% and increased in the second cycle becomes 90.32%. Besides from the analysis of observational data has risen 80% descriptor has been completed to 95% descriptor which takes place in the learning process. Based on the results above, it can be conclude that Mind Mapping method can improve student learning outcomes in Elementary Mathematics education courses in Grades Low.
